Aluminum Rear hubs and ecx ball studs?

I have rpm rear hubs on my 1/10 ruckus. Also have team associated adjustable steering and camber links with ecx ball studs.

I've been having problems with the top mounting hole for camber links on the rpm hubs
--the ecx ball studs slowly strip out, like the holes are a hair too large

thinking of getting the aluminum rear hubs

Will the ecx ball studs screw into the top holes?
or would i be forced to use included screws and return to stock plastic camber link?

If you get the ECX aluminum rear hubs, the ECX ball studs will fit. Were those RPM hubs the oversized ones? If so, then you might have to swap back to the stock bearings.

I had the same issue. I even tried using CA glue ("superglue") on the threads per RPM's suggestion. Didn't work and the ballstuds would work their way loose very quickly. I just used a small 4-40 nut with a drop of blue thread lock to secure the ballstud. No problems any more!

Gotta love thread locker. Great idea on this one, I might have to give this a shot!

i actually had some longer hpi ballstuds laying around so i used those with 3m lock nuts
ecx ballstuds are just too short
and yes.... blue threadlock
