Traxxas 17mm Hex adapters, will they work?

Will Traxxas Slash 4x4 17mm hex adapters work on a 2wd Ruckus? If not, will the Slash 2wd 17mm hex adapters work?

Cant tell you about the Traxxas ones, but i know the Hot Racing for the Slash 2wd will.

Did you get the Hot Racing adapters for the Slash 2wd because the front is more narrow than the rear? Thus the reason why the Torment/Ruckus has a wider hex on the front than the rear?

I know with the slash 2wd 17 mm adapters, one pair is shorter than the other. I know that on the Torment/Ruckus the 12 mm hex on the rear is bigger than the front. Did you put the longer 17 mm adapter on the rear, and the shorter pair on the front?

Well, I ended up putting slash 2wd stub axles on the front, and slash 4x4 on the rear with RPM oversized bearing carriers. I put slash 2wd 17mm hex adapters on the truck and they work great. I actually like the slash front stub axle better. More heavy duty. I'm using 3.2 sized truggy wheels and tires on the truck. A build thread is coming shortly.
