Looks like I'm a little late to the party seeing as ecx has been bought out and will probably be discounted in the nere future : (
This is my build, hope it inspires a few to take the hobby a little further.

Hopefully there is a way to post videos on this forum. I have a friend with the same car only its a lot closer to stock. We drive together and I have video that can really show the difference between our cars. Just not sure how to post videos

So far I have done the following
•RPM wheel carriers and suspension arms
•HR servo saver
•Minor servo upgrade
•DHK remote and receiver
•Onix 5000/8.4v nimh batteries
•Hobbywing 3660-3200 motor esc combo
•Proline powerstroke shocks with universal mounting kit- upgraded the pistons too, ask if your using the same shocks and I'll post the part #
•Mip driveshafts
•Metal gears
•Proline badlands tire, I only use these tires for off-road crawling. I wouldn't recommend them for anything else. They will destroy your car eventually if you dont take it easy but for walking pace they are AMAZING!
•Speedtreads shootout tires for everything else.

This is not a basher car. Im very technical and try to be gentle with my car. Some of the mods I wouldn't use on a basher. (MIP driveshafts and Proline badlands tires.) These parts will stress your drivetrain and break parts if your not gentle with them. Let me know if you have any questions, ill do my best to respond.
