My wife got a used Torment and wants to get a new shell. She wants something prepainted. What companies produce direct fits (no extra holes needed) for thus model?
If anyone has changed body mounts I'd be interested in knowing which ones you used.

I think body mounts will depend on what body you will be using. That is if you buy pre-made body mounts. With that said if you are handy you could make your own body mounts with a bit of motivation and imagination.
Bodies are tricky for a Torment, similar to a Slash, they are long and wide, and if you are not going for the stadium truck look, then it gets a bit more involved. Not impossible mind you but a challenge for sure.
I replaced my stadium truck bodies with a baja VW bug body, looks good, but the body was pre-painted and pre-drilled, so the body does have two extra rear mount holes in it to make it fit right, which is the only down side to it. A few carefully placed stickers and you dont know. I am not saying a VW bug is your jam, but it checked all my options and looks killer.

Look at the hobby shops (Hobby Town, A-Main, Horizon), or eBay and Amazon for torment bodies. There arent many out there, but, they arent hard to find. As for drilling new holes, its actually easy, doesn't take much more than a drill bit, and, if you are willing to drill new holes, open up a ton of options, from almost any 1/10TH scale SCT, like the Arrma Senton, Traxxas Slash (which has tons of available prepainted bodies, in several styles, and usually the body i go to. I buy bodies for the Slash, and just make my own holes for whatever im using the body on), Losi, and Team Associated, and a lot of them can be had on eBay for less than $40 shipped. This seller on eBay is where i typically get bodies from: https://www.ebay.com/sch/uctopfpv/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

I have bought 4 bodies from him over the years. I still have 3. One of them shattered when I rolled over.

Most of the bodies i buy come from them. I had one shatter in the cold and snow, and one split down the middle after a really hard landing, but, i wouldnt say that is too bad since i probably have a dozen or more of their bodies. The black and blue bug body shown above is actually the latest body i got from them, to change the look on my 2WD Slash. This si the next one im getting: https://www.ebay.com/itm/284548668814 Im gonna pull all the stickers and make my own Monster Energy truck.

it's very difficult (expensive) to get plastics to hold up to heat, impact, and cold.
