I purchased a stadium that has everything stock. Please tell me what would be a good motor brushed and brushless to upgrade to. I would also need to know what else I would need as fast as speed control and should I put bearings and or metal gears if they are available. I had a tamiya hornet growing up. I can't wait to get started. Oh yes this battery is toast so help me out with what to stay away from and what I should go for. Thanks

I've bought a 5900kv brushless motor and ESC, 8000mah lipo battery, machined turnbuckles and machine driveshafts all from Amazon. Items my local HobbyTown doesn't stock.

For the price point of the vehicle, I like Amazon batteries, servo, ESC and motor combo. 2S is a great upgrade, 3S is a little extreme. Metal internal transmission gears and keep the driveline and suspension plastic so you’re not replacing it all every crash
