Differentials

I am building a short course truck from the ground up, and was wondering what type of dif cover I should use, aluminum, or just rpm's plastic cover. I want to use the metal gears.

There are pros and cons to both. However, when it comes to gear mesh, less movement is always better. That being the case, I would go aluminum.

Everyone starts somewhere. The important part is that you are digging in and getting your hands dirty. Knowledge will come with time.

Also, if I go with a center differential, will I still need to have a front and rear one too?
