14mm hex with 2mm pins

I'm having a hard time finding any 14mm hexes with only a 2mm pin. Any help would be great. I know that limits me to Arrma Wheels and a few others, I'm fine with that. Just need to get these new wheels on.

I've ordered a 2.5mm drill bit to drill out the stock axles to fit my new hexes and pins if there aren't any easier solutions. (No, I'm not getting different wheels.)

Thanks!

something like this?

it doesn't specify what axle pin size, but just from eyeball experience that looks like a 2mm pin. I do a lot of ordering off amazon prime for stuff like this because of their no questions asked returns policy - I just try and be respectful and open things in a way they can be resealed for resale.

you could also keep your 12mm hex and run a simple 14mm adapter

I would absolutely not drill the stock axle for an oversized pin. That area of the axle is already its weakest point and prone to breaking, you'd be exacerbating that problem. Not to mention the wheel and tire package you are adding a lot of unsprung rotating mass to stress that stub further.

Instead of doing that. Everyone should go a shop at https://jennysrc.com/ . I am not sure why people dont mention it here, very inexpensive to downright cheap . They buy new rc`s , take them apart and sell the parts. You can get Arrma too. I will be using a set of Traxxas wheels and tires. I do not own or work there but they are a great store. Huge on Arrma Forum !

He doesn’t get mentioned much because this is the ECX forum for discussing mostly ECX vehicles and he doesn’t (has never to my knowledge) been a breaker for ECX models.

I have used him for Arrma 6S and Traxxas Slash 4x4 and XO-1 stuff, probably about $250 total and counting. He’s about an hour south of me. Very good packaging, fast ship time, great prices. Items appear in brand new condition

I just got a Typhon 6S chassis for a stencil. It’s $69 on Amazon and other places, he was $16

Butt You can cheaply buy traxxas or other manufacturers 12mm monster truck rims and tires !!
