Body Help (paint and cracking)

Finally got the street car Torment running again... I painted a body about a year and a half ago and finally got it on the car... anyway I believe its a plastic body or maybe thick Lexan??
But I quickly noticed all the little pebbles getting thrown around under there have caused damage to the paint.. (painted from inside) and its chipping a bit and getting delaminated in some areas....

the body got a crack in it too after I spun out and hit a car tire (not very hard either) but its cracked nevertheless... any way to fix the crack/repair? It was an expensive body and I dont want the crack to get any worse...

any input is much appreciated

they make a hot stapler specifically for repairing cracked plastic but it's intended for thicker stuff ~ 1/8". you could use a two part epoxy, big box stores sell ones that are specifically designed for plastic repairs. I use it on my kid's toys

Here's a video about reinforcing your RC bodies, it may give you some ideas. I'm not saying it is what you need but it may work.
