Broken part Amp MT

My sons amp broke what I believe is an axle. Can anyone verify this? How hard is it to replace? Recommended parts? When the axle broke the shock also opened up and separated from the screw top. I should probably replace those as well. Terrible picture. Hope someone can help.

Yep. That's a drive shaft that broke. Relatively easy to replace.
