Yes that should be fine. You might remember me from my steering not working thread. I got a brushless combo like this (these are rebranded generic combos) but beware, some of these are defective. I got mines, in 30 minutes (was working and doing wheelies awesomely at first, but after 30 minutes, the esc smoked up and DESTROYED my Servo, I’m gonna get a new servo on amazon. I’ve heard some people say that the amp can’t handle 5000 KV or higher, you should get something like 3000 or 4000 KV esc

I would not get a high powered high rpm motor like that if your running the plastic diff if you do keep a spare diff handy or get the metal gear diff and run just about any motor you want. Also high kv motors like 5200kv motor while fast get hotter faster easier and give less runtime they use more battery power faster.

If your running the the stock plastic diff and are just looking for a increase in speed from the stock 20t motor I have suggestion.

Esc https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OCDAY-Wa...182880?hash=item41ef91c860:g:mCAAAOSwa6JbtH2t

Servo https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KYOSHO-I...289454&hash=item26042cac75:g:j14AAOSwKrhVZeI6

I run a 3650 2700kv in a Circuit with 2.8 tires stock plastic diff fast enough to have fun and easy on the plastic diff and driveshafts. The 3650 3100kv I run in a 2wd Stampede. The Perfex servos I have a few of them.

I just tried to give links from Ebay UK they may or may not ship to you I don't know of course anything shipped from China would be cheaper but don't know if you want to wait that long I don't.

This combo is similar to what I run in my 2wd Stampede https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crazepony-...ie=UTF8&qid=1538694752&sr=8-7&keywords=3100kv

The last combo heyitsme linked is basically what I have in one of my circuits. I love that motor. Stays cool on 3s no matter how bad I beat it. I highly recommend it.

hi all thanks for the replies I ordered the combo from the bottom link just finished fitting it also fitted the new receiver just waiting for the servo to turn up then should be good to go
thanks for your help

well just been out with the boy WOW this shifts now i think i will need to get a wheelie bar for it it kept flipping itself over lol

I replied in your Torment 4x4 brushless upgrade thread for the first question and yes the 550 motor and 60a brushed Dynamite esc should work great in the AMP might be a little harder on the plastic diff though depending on how hard you bash your AMP.

cheers for the reply also i had to drill the grub screw out of the amp pinion what size pinion should i replace it with now ill be running the torment motor and esc

19t pinion should be fine (with stock sized tires). If you do not have one already you should invest in a IR temp gun . When changing gearing, motors and tires temps should be your guide (don't want burn things up) in what pinion you should choose. Try to keep the temp of the motor below 160F especially with brushed motors (less tolerant to prolonged heat than brushless). No one (usually) runs their rc the same what may work for one may not work for another so if things get a little hot gear down things not running hot want more speed gear up.

thanks for the reply looks like ill be upgrading the boys mt to metal diff as he shredded the 2 smaller gears in the housing yesterday first time out with the metal driveshafts he was not happy lol what are the 2 little gears in the housing called I was trying to see if I could get replacement metal ones as I've seen the diff on a site for a good price but it doesn't include the 2 small gears also lost a screw out of one of the front wheel hubs

Just get the metal gear set https://www.horizonhobby.com/metal-gear-set:-all-ecx-1-10-2wd-ecx9001 it would be nice if they sold the idler gear, top shaft gear and metal ring gear separate but unfortunately they have to be purchased as a set. The screw you lost I assume you're talking about one of the shoulder screws in the steering knuckle (front wheel hub) all to common to lose those. The threads are too short and strip the steering knuckle not enough length into plastic to hold very well. Aluminum would be best in this case Hot Racing ECT2106 (cheaper) or ECX brand.
