ESC question.

My brushless ruckus ESC isn't making any kind of tones like the manual says it should. The ESC is part# DYNS2400.
Does anyone know if this is a problem, or is there a way to turn it on?

Thanks
Josh

sorry this is a bit late, but as far as I know, the ESC does not make the the sounds. I believe the noise actually comes from the motor.

Noises come from ESC, not motor. Motor has no brains, the ESC is the brains of the show.
I don't know stock, I use upgraded. Usually they chirp for battery types. Or just it saying it is connected.

I have had ESC not make noises. If all works, don't worry about it. Keep enjoying RCing.

If it breaks, UPGRADE!!!

The motor is used as a buzzer - the ESC sends high frequency pulses to the motor windings which produces noise, so the brains are still in the ESC but the sound output comes from the motor.

No it's not. The beeps are from the ESC. Only noise from the motor is the raw power. The beeps tell you what mode it's in for type of battery and confirming your connected.
