Gearing

I’ve got a 1/10 2wd torment and I’m putting 2.8 duratrax c2 hatchet my wheels on the back with smaller wheels in the front with a VW body I’ve got a steel 87 t and a 87t spur gear but I only have a 18t pinion gear which should I use for bashing and running on a small track in my back yard

Your set up seems fine for both uses. I’m not sure if you’ve put in a brushless system but if you haven’t and your truck is still brushed then maybe go down a tooth to 17t pinion just to offset the lack of power
