Goodafternoon,

I received my new ECX Amp MT today:D Before I do anything, I'm going to switch out the servo after what I've read about steering issues. I've ordered the Hitec 645MG that's been recommended by others (I also fly RC and I've never had an issue with Hitec)

So - is there anything I need to know before I switch-out the servo, i.e., will it slip right in, or are modifications required?

Looking forward to bashing....Dan

I run the same servo in my 4X4 Ruckus. It's OK... it should do well in the AMP though as its only 2WD and weighs significantly less. I run Turnigy 1258TGs in everything else.

The 645 is a little slow and sluggish, but has been bombproof to my 45mph monster... and I beat the tar out of it.

Make sure you use the right servo horn... You get 3 with the amp and they have a stamped number on it that shows the spline count. If you use the wrong horn, it will skip all the time.
