is the 1/10 2wd ruckus considered a light or heavy duty monster truck?
looking at new motors and they mention what application
i'm just bashing my ruckus

No idea what you mean, but my two cents, they are pretty tough out of the box, but I have broken a lot of plastic parts and replaced with hop up aluminum and now I would consider my ruckus heavy duty. Gears, hexs, a arms, towers.... list goes on..

i mean in terms of motor and gearing demands
i'm assuming light since they are a light 2wd and assuming light because even there stock gears are only 48p

Well I have a brushless ruckus and I had to upgrade a bunch of gears and driveshafts as they are not strong enough out of the box. So if it's stock and you do no upgrades you will be fine and heavy vs light won't matter, if you upgrade any performance parts expect some "light" duty parts to break. And if they do, spend the money on "heavier" duty. As far as pitch and amount of teeth, I never changed mine, just upgraded to steel
