So yah, I told myself that this was going to be my fun backyard basher... Now I have just finished ordering the Xtreme Racing's LCG conversion along with all the parts necessary to finish the build properly.

homemade rear diff mod to seal rear diff and 10k cst diff oil *

ECX aluminum threaded shock set

Xtreme Racing's G-10 battery strap
ECX Circuit Chassis, top plate, and suspension mount set
Traxxas turnbuckles (camber and toe) *
Team Associated #40 shock oil

JConcepts Dirt Webs tires, front and rear *
(parts listed with * have already been installed)

So much for a backyard brawler. Now she's going to be more of a track princess!

I will post pictures as the parts roll in and I get them installed.

*update

1. I ended up going with the Traxxas Big Bore shocks instead of the ECX threaded shocks, mainly because of different spring rate availability.
2. I also decided on the Traxxas SS Screwz set over the TLR set.

And yet again another change in plans. So no more brushed system...

Just got my new reedy 1000z+ brushless esc and reedy 13.5T Mach 3 motor.

TLR yellow rear spring and blue front spring. Hoping to get some track time next weekend.

Speed control came in yesterday, gunna install it this Saturday with the new motor. I'm chomping at the bit so bad right now... I want to hit the track and embarrass some of the $1000 race setups that are there.

After all they told me an ECX couldn't/wouldn't ever be competitive on the track. LOL we'll see about that

Pretty much... you would also need the essential SCT parts, bumpers, body mounts, and body of course.
