Just thought i throw this out there. Using a rear suspension mount plate, i had extra laying around for spare parts, you can mount both the esc and receiver. The plate mounts easily to the rear shock tower front two screws. Makes it easier to clean your rc also(my esc isnt wp:(), just 2 screws, disconnect motor leads from esc and servo from receiver and they come off as one piece.

Cool, but doesn't the aerial stick out past the rear shock tower? My body gets beat up a lot around those two hardpoints.
 
At first glance that appears to be a lot of pressure on the 2 screws holding the plate. Couldn't you glue a block of foam rubber underneath so it rests on the battery strap and has less room to move when landing jumps?
Interesting idea, especially with the more central centre of gravity.
