Replacement shell options?

I have a 2wd 1/10 ruckus a buddy gave me. I want to replace the shell, but dont really like the style of what is available on horizon hobby that says its a direct replacement for the ruckus. anyone have suggestions for universal bodies that will fit

I don't know of any direct replacements from aftermarket companies, but almost any body can be made to fit, if you use a bit of creativity.
If you do go the route of aftermarket, you will have to cut it out, and drill body post holes yourself, anyways.

Watch your wheel base the overall body of the original ruckus body is 19 inches with a 13 inch wheel base but most aftermarket bodies come full scale ( bumpers, fenders, etc.) these have to be modified to fit the monster truck design. the traxxas slash bodies are actually 1.37 inches too wide and over 2 inches too long

I am thinking about the new body , in clear with the stickers . That arma blue body is pretty sweet tho !!
