Ruckus cleaning methods

Hi guys I just would like to know how you guys clean these beasts? Do you remove anything when cleaning or do you just hose down the hole thing and wait for everything to dry?

They are waterproof to a point, that being said I wouldn't recommend total submersion/hose down. The most common method we use at the track is a compressor blowout and a course hair paint brush. If you need a little more cleaning power I would use some diluted simple green followed by the blowout method.

I was always recommended to make my own rc cleaner to clean mine.

Yup, 50/50 mixture of water and Simple Green in a spray bottle. Spray on RC and let sit for a couple minutes then wipe and/or blow off with an air compressor.
