Should I upgrade to a complete metal transmission or stay plastic

Yes I went through two spur gears within 50 min which is single battery for me. And I just go to hobby Town USA to replace it so I just leave it to the experts. So they just set it up

If you have a metal pinion, I normally recommend a metal spur, although with a good mesh on 48 pitch you should be able to run a plastic spur. Are you absolutely sure the pinion is 48p and not 32p?
