heyo,

my local track is opening soon, and i am not sure what to pick for tires, since the stock tires are not exactly the best for offroad.
on the site, the description is "medium size, with a hard packed track surface (clay mix), and light dust on top."
any recommendations that any of you want to suggest for this terrain?

another thing, what are the size of the stock tires anyway? and how does it compare to other options?

nummber, I would go with the Proline Trencher tires, 1170-10. Good grip and they come with extensions, stock, and wide track. You can get a set or two for a pretty good price on eBay.

They are probably refering to 2.2 stadium truck tire, and with a surface like that anything you choose your gunna want a soft to super soft compound rubber

We run on the street and dirt, we also race at night. Just today I uploaded my Traxxas Bandit to Traxxas suspension and Proline Trenchers and Proline wheel extensions. What a difference in handling and grip, and corning is amazing. Next will be changing to Proline shocks.
