Hello ECX family,
So I recently took the truck for a run with some friends and family. It was great! Great potential for long run times, but the motor was very hot to the touch so I took it easy. I let it sit from time to time in the shade to let it cool off a bit.
We are exploring our options of adding a heatsink and a fan to the motor with a separate battery and switch. I'm curious to see if any of you have added a fan and/or heatsink to the motor of the torment. I am also looking for ideas on where to open holes in the torment body for the best ventilation that doesn't weaken the body of the vehicle.
The truck is running on 2S Lipo. I have a brushless 3900kv motor and esc (https://www.ebay.com/itm/3929642919...MInZ_0vZvX8gIVdW1vBB303QA9EAQYGSABEgJwUvD_BwE) with a steering servo from a gas-powered Traxxas Revo.
I thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
