Will buggy wheels fit on the Torment 4WD?

I've got a set of buggy wheels with 12mm hex fittings and thought they might go on the Torment, but after receiving it here at work, the diameter of the inside of the rim seems larger than that. Is this a SCT thing? This is my first short course vehicle.

Yes on SCT's (Short Course Trucks) they run a special rim that is 2.2 outside and 3.0 inside diameters. It helps with keeping speeds up through the turn and allowing the outside to flex while having a stiff inner sidewall to to aid in the bite of the tires.

I would just like to share this with you, I put Axial Exo rims and tires on my ECX Torment 2wd, they work great.

Hmm. I tried them again last night, instead of just eyeballing it, I slapped one one. They work fine on rear but on the front the steering linkage touches the inside of the rim.
