Guiding my son through set up for his race Amp. He added Traxxas adjustable camber turn buckles, repacked the diff with grease, and I’m helping him install a Kyosho Lemans esc with a full sensored Kyosho 19.5 motor. Gonna slow him down a little, but he will learn throttle control.

Is that just red lithium bearing grease that you're using? Thanks! Was thinking of using the same in our diffs.

Yep, high temp brake and bearing lithium grease. We repack about 3 times a Summer. It lasts a lot longer when your diff case is new. Our outdrives are worn and a little sloppy so it still eventually flys out. On my race trucks that have sealed silicone differentials, it’s recommended to change the fluid for every hr of run time. The more you do it, the longer the diff will last.

He loved the way his truck drove Saturday. I think he’s gonna have a great season. The motor and esc really made the buggy much more competitive with the full sensored combo. Plenty of speed for our local loose dirt track.
