Hi All
I have been having electrical issue with my Ruckus. With the stock 15T brushed motor and stock 60a ESC, I get very short run times using a 2s 5200mah 50c lipo. I get 5-8 minutes and the ESC got so hot it melted the solder connection loose at the EC3 connector. I swapped out to an Arrma 12T brushed and Arrma Brushed ESC (same set up as a brushed Granite), but I still have issues. It runs fine but after about 8 minutes the throttle shuts down and the ESC flashes red, but the steering works. If I turn the ESC on and off it will run for another minute and shut off again. I have no binding, everything rolls freely and I just cleaned the motor. I am running stock gearing 19t pinion and 87t spur and the truck is 2wd.
Any ideas? I want to go brushless but don’t want to keep encountering problems. Could the steering servo cause issues with the throttle cutting off?
