Motor swap

Installed a new motor in my temper. Its an atomik fireball. It scoots pretty good now. Will still crawl if you want it to. Will wheelie now if you go full throttle. The LHS had it in stock so deceided to try it before ordering the tazer..
Pretty happy with it for $12.

Was it a simple swap?
Pinion and everything, just bolted right up and it fit?

I just put in a 370 also. You will need to enlarge the motor plate holes for the wider bolt pattern on a 370. Simple task. Other than that, a 370 motor is a bolt in upgrade.

Good to know. The helion 370 I put in mine had a different mounting pattern than stock.

How is this holding up so far? My buddy fried the helion 370 in his Losi MRC. And today as we were running mine got so hot the positive wire de-soldered from the motor tab. It was super hot. Might just go with a tazer 280 or brushless
