Amp MT TX/RX Range

So this transmitter...it's tiny...but for 2.4ghz the range is atrocious. I'm maybe 150 feet out (2 houses down on my road) and I completely lose signal.

Is there anything I can do other than upgrading tx/rx/esc/motor?

You could try extending the antenna on the vehicle. Solder to the exposed wire and route it through the body.

I never had issues with the TX range. It only started to crap out when the car's battery pack was running on empty (thinking the BEC lets go before the car stops moving).

Are the batteries in the the radio ok at least? And is the little antenna tube on the chassis standing upright? Is there a bit of wire sticking out of it at the top?
