Are you going to drive anywhere in a car today? That's an activity that is far far far more dangerous than using a LiPo battery. It's a demonstrable fact that the human mind is more influenced by rare "lightning strike" events than much more common occurrences.

Just use common sense and you'll be fine. :)

Yes, I will, however, I take precautions for that too, lol. I get your point, though, lipos are no more dangerous than driving a car, or cutting myself, accidentally, with a knife
 
Yep, and at least the LiPo risk is a risk you can control. If you want to be 100% safe, charge them in a ceramic flower pot. That'll stop even flames spouting from a hole in the lipo bag (if it's a bad one, a good zippered one will contain 100%).
