Was just out running my torment as I got a new 8.4 hump pack from great hobbies here in the maritimes and with less than 2 full charges on the new battery I've had a meltdown with the ECX13006 esc/receiver from my m/t amp truck anyone got any ideas for an inexpensive replacement that won't blow up with a hump pack? Need replacements for both trucks now that the only working esc I had on hand is now dead :p pic is the melted esc next to the pack that blew it up

A receiver is going to be paired with a new radio (I highly recommend splitting the receiver/ESC duties, the combo ones fail very often). The dumborc x6 is a pretty inexpensive combo. ESC should be based off what motor you're running or plan to switch to. I thought staying brushed would be cheaper, but at the rate I ended up burning stuff up it ended up being much cheaper just to go brushless and be one-and-done. goolrc has some good combos for the $, just read the reviews.
