Got a torment with no reverse!

We just bought an ECX torment but it won't go reverse. Not sure how to change this goes forwards left and right. It slows down but it won't go reverse. Hasn't come with a binding pot either

Which Torment do you have? I would call up Horizon Hobby and have them run you through the calibration process for your receiver. Possibly it has a setting for racing, this would remove the reverse functionality.

Yup sounds like reverse has been disabled.
