I just made a bash guard for the front pumpkin, and lowered the body. The rear posts are all the way down, and there are two holes left in the front posts.

I got the diamond plate from my local hobby shop, it’s the RC4WD brand. It comes with two sheets for about $15.

Made the side rocker panel things for the body, and made a bash guard for the rear diff. I’m thinking about making something for the Hood next. Tell me what you guys think, and also what is your opinion about the “Barrage” stickers. Thanks

Thinking about a set of RC4WD wagon wheels. Not sure if I need the standard version, or if the wide version would look better. Also considering going down to 1.55 in wheels instead of the 1.9. I think the 1.55 might look better, but I would want tires that would be similar in size to the stock Falcon’s. They are around 4in by 1 1/2in, so if I can get 1.55s that are something like 3.8 in by 1.4 I’d be happy. Let me know if anyone has experience with the RC4WD wagons in standard width or wide versions, and if 1.55s are gonna be too small and mess with the performance while on the trail and crawling. Thanks again

I just looked and found that the 1.55 tires are all pretty much right where I wanted size wise. Damn it lol. I could still use the falcons after baking them off the stock wheels if I stay with 1.9s. Getting new, more aggressive tires is kinda what I’d like to try, but spending another $50 on rubber when the falcons work pretty good is hard to justify when I also want a new Deadbolt. What do ya think ?

Just thought of a new aluminum piece I just gotta make while looking at the truck. End caps for each side of the front bumper where I cut it. And I need two silver hoops and a scale tow strap. Might find myself at the hobby shop tomorrow trying to only purchase the hoops. I might try to make a tow strap, gonna watch some videos for ideas. Any help with all 50 of my questions and requests for for your opinion is always appreciated. Thanks guys

Also, rock sliders ? Suggestions for inexpensive, simple functional ones that could be easily modified to fit if they aren’t made exactly for this truck.

Picked up some RC4WD 1.9, 5 lug wagon wheels today. I tried the bake off method to remove my stock Falcon’s for re use, and let’s just say now I also gotta get new tires. Lol I decided to go with the RC4WD Mud Slingers first version. They are 3.6 inches, compared to 4 inches for the Falcons. Decided to go slightly smaller for a more scale look without going to 1.55 wheels like I thought I wanted to. That way when I get my SCX10 11 I can use these wheels if I want to later.

Oh WOW ! Just finished mounting my new RC4WD Mud Slingers on the RC4WD Wagon wheels. It looks so nasty. I like the looks of the smaller tires on the Barrage.

It handled well, I’m impressed.

Made the aluminum side pieces for the bumper.77F699EE-BDD1-4452-9537-886F344959FC.webp

Also shoved the front bumper all the way in. Drilled new holes, and cut the mounts flat with the mounting bracket.

Now to decide which one to get next. SCX10 2 Deadbolt’ or Wraith Spawn ? Possibly the kit version, or those RTR’s ? Any comments or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

I still have plans to purchase the ‘72 Chevy C-10 body by Proline. It’s for the Traxxas Stampede, but it’s the same wheelbase as the Barrage. I gotta do it, as I had a ‘68 back in tha day.

Gave my truck a bath, and decided to install the white front LED lights. I think it turned out pretty damn nice, if I might say so myself lol
