Hello everyone I have an older ecx ruckus with still the am system.What all do I need to change to make it 2.4 ghz.I know the radio and rec but does anything else?

Nope. Just the tx and Rx.

I didn't want to spend alot of money and a friend had a new one he did use.I hate to say the word on here but Redcat.It works and it does the trick for now,better than what i had before.

It's 3 channel and has a lot of good features. Ever since I got one with my rtr Wraith its been a favorite. It feels nice and is well balanced.

If you ever need another 2.4ghz tx and rx a cheap but good one is the spektrum DX2E, i have it in a few of my cars and absolutely love it! and super easy to bind.

I agree! One came stock with my losi, it's a nice setup for the money.

I like the DX2E, I got one with my Ruckus, but the Tactic is a three channel so adding lights that you can control is a breeze.
