Rotating the gear should rotate the motor and it should NOT feel very hard or forced

If removing reinstall speed controller and route like so

Reconnect your motor and give it a quick run

Dont gun it right away slowly ranp up speeds make sure u put it together right

If u have factory controller start 75 th lim and th rate mid for reverse also check electric connections are tight

If u run into any probs apart or back to gether take a picture and post what happens
