Torment 4x4 side rails?

I noticed that the 2wd unit has some nice side rails on the chassis and the 4wd unit has none. Are these units available? In the works? Anyone have a DIY or aftermarket solution?

Looks like the two vehicles have very different chassis.

It kind of looks like the 4WD chassis doesn't need the rails due to the wider chassis. I suppose you could always try ordering the rails and attempting to make them work with the 4WD chassis. The part is in the following link:

I just figured it might save the body a bit, in the event of other models crashing into mine. I'll have to crash it a few times before I start cutting and pasting.
