Ecx Temper Build

My ecx temper build so far:
Hot racing axle lockouts, rc4wd 1.7 siped super swampers, Proline 1972 chevy c10 body, and a custom aluminum chassis. Still waiting on a 280 motor and some 100mm shocks and that will complete my build so far. More pics to come as i gather more parts.

I would, but I'm still waiting on the new motor, there isn't one in it as of right now, but i will when I'm done!

Loosely plugged in the new motor to the esc, man is this little guy torquey! It actually suprised me how much torque it had. Can't wait to get it fully assembled and try it!

Have you swapped out the differentials yet?
You're going to need to with those big tires and that hot motor.
Get the metal ones for a Redcat Everest 16 they won't strip out like the stock plastic ones do.

Well my build is finished for now. Roughly 3 and a half inches of ground clearance, 100mm shocks, and a 280 motor. Looks about twice as fast as stock. To mount the shocks i used a 1 inch extension off the frame acting as a shock tower. Still gets good flex and torque twist is gone. Seeing it drive put a smile on my face lol. Can't wait to test it out.

When did you get your temper? I open up my gears and they were metal already in the in diff box. I just added some red sticky grease.

The center of the gear box is plastic on the Temper, so the axle will twist and round out the center with the 307 motor. The Redcat Racing is metal!
