Ecx amp my upgrades.

My son has the ecx amp truck with a Traxxas wheelie bar and the velieon motor and VXL-3s esc. It will fly. I also have a Traxxas Rustler with the same set up. They are both fast. Also we are running 3s 5000mah LiPos. Seems like they run forever. Also you really have to work the throttle because even going around 20 mph and if you full throttle it will stand up and flip over. This has been a great truck. He got it for Xmas and has bought all the upgrades himself. I am proud of him he is only 13. The amp truck seems to break less then my Traxxas Rustler.

Can any on help with a good way to mount some weight on the front to help hold it down?

Also what is a good alaround weight oil for the shocks. That is just good for on road off road and some track driving?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I don't think you can realistically mount enough weight to the front to the truck to control wheelies. Enough weight (which would be too much) to keep the front down and the truck won't handle properly. But the stick on weights are a good solution. You can stick them the the chassis under the steering bellcrank, on top of the servo. I've even seen people ziptie junky/cheap/old socket-wrench sockets to the front shock tower.
