I've counted on Hitec digital servos for the longest time during my time in the hobby. One of the main reasons, quality. The second reason why I'll pay a bit more for a Hitec, or other comparable brand of servo, replacement gears. Nowadays you can get good servos for way less money, when compared to Hitec's lineup, but a lot of times you won't find replacement gears.
