Amp mt esc flashing and no response

Pulled from Horizon Hobby documentation describing the binding of the 13003 Rx:

Binding is the process of programming the receiver to recognize the GUID (Globally Unique Identifier) code of a single specific transmitter.
  1. Power off the transmitter and ESC.
  2. Connect a fully charged battery pack to the ESC.
  3. Power on the ESC. The RED LED on the ESC flashes.
  4. Press the bind button (A) on the receiver. The RED LED on the ESC flashes rapidly.
  5. Power on the transmitter.
  6. The RED LED on the ESC turns solid when the radio system is bound.
You must rebind when binding the receiver to a different transmitter.

Thanks for the info. I had just figured out that there are 2 buttons on the receiver and one is the binding button. Now I have working RC again! A question I have now is what is the other button on the receiver?

Unfortunately I can't figure that out! :) I guess that will be an email for HH. I'm glad that you got the car running again!
