Brushless motor and esc for my boost?

Hello, just seeing if anyone would know the answer to this question. Would a hobbystar 35a esc/120a burst be sufficient in the boost with the skyrc toro 2800kv motor? That motor claims the "max current" to be only 33a, this kind of confused me as its a 540 motor and I've even seen cheaper ones have a higher amperage needed. My boost buggy as of now is only 2.7 pounds with a 4000mah lipo.

I want to see if it would be better to use these electronics instead of the skyrc combo for 50$ ( that one is a 60a/90 burst and is only a 380 rotor in a 540 can, with fins).

I follow a golden rule since my beginnings in RC, simply get an ESC more capable than your motor amperage. If you change your motor later, you may use the same ESC without the need of upgrading. Also, that ESC seems for mini/micro RC's, probably the connectors won't fit the motor's ones.
