    Amp MT TX/RX Range

So this transmitter...it's tiny...but for 2.4ghz the range is atrocious. I'm maybe 150 feet out (2 houses down on my road) and I completely lose signal. Is there anything I can do other than upgrading tx/rx/esc/motor?

RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Install/ Review on Amp MT

Many have posted about the RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator. I figured I'd do a more in depth look at the kit and install. RPM part# 73492 is the kit used for this install. It is done on an Amp MT, but the kit also fits the Boost, Ruckus, Circuit and Torment. RPM Servo-Saver Eliminator Bellcrank...

Help me decide between the amp and the circuit

I can get a brand new circuit for about the same price as the new amp, My question is which one would you pick, I am leaning towards the circuit since it seems to have better electronics. My son has a Ruckus and I have fun with it

    Let the Mods Begin!

Hey everyone. New to the Forum and returning to the hobby after a looooong hiatus. I picked up a couple of Amp MT's for my son and I a while back, but I can't leave well enough alone even though they're pretty fun in stock trim. So began the research and general internet-ing to get some Ideas...

    Amp steering wobble in reverse

Well, today I finally received my Amp mt. My first thought is that this thing is slow....... But that's ok since it is for my 4 year old. I took it out briefly to check functionality before I handed it to my kid and noticed something annoying. When going in reverse the steering starts to...

    Amp buggy slipper clutch shim?

I had my transmission out/apart of my amp buggy and I had a small shim laying around after I put it all back together. I can't seem to find a parts diagram for this thing, does anyone know if there is a shim behind the slipper clutch assembly? If there is I think it would be in between the...

New to the Hobby, looking to upgrade my AMP MT

Hello everyone, So as you can tell, I'm new to the hobby. I picked up an AMP MT at my local hobby shop. I have a few questions on whats available for mods. So far I have focused on tires and suspension. I put on a set (rear only) of Pro-Line Dirt Hawgs. ECX Aluminum Shocks (front and rear)...

    SCT body for the AMP?

First thought is the Circuit, but I want a body that covers the wheels, like an SCT body does. Torment? Maybe a ProLine? Any recommendations? Thanks!

    Installed my ebay ESC today

So I ordered a "New Rain 320A waterproof brushed ESC" to replace the fried stock unit on my Amp. I chose this ESC because it is claimed waterproof so probably slightly spatter resistant, and it has a much larger cooling fin than the cheapest ebay ESCs. I paid 10.44 euros for it. While the...

ECX AMP Associated B4/T4 steering "upgrade"

The larger tired on the AMP cars easily overpower the stock servo saver in the AMP truck and buggy. I've gotten tired with the really vague steering (I've been spoiled by my Boost buggy's RPM steering assembly and MG servo) so I decided that I would try something to improve the steering while...

    Lipo Curious

Reading all the bits about how good a lipo would be i'm considering just buying one to see the difference it makes. I'm not so much looking for blistering speed but more about longer run time. From the reading i have done the stock Amp can take a 2s lipo and one listed in some of the forums is...

Will the amp take an 8.4 7 cell battery?

Will the amp take an 8.4 7 cell battery? The chassis seems to have slots for velcro to hold one but not sure if the electronics will either deal with or maximise the use of one of these. Primarily looking for a little extra power during running. The 5000 7.2 battery currently using seems to...

RPM servo illiminator/metal gear servo finally complete!!

So I couldn't stand the slop in the steering and I purchased the rpm servo eliminator bell crank. I loved it, but it destroyed my stock servo. So I purchased one of the recommended metal gear servos on here. Enter the mg996r, strong as hell. It couldn't center itself on small turns. My money was...

Fast Eddy Bearing upgrade: ECX AMP

I was the lucky winner of the ECX Forum drawing for a set of sealed bearings from Fast Eddy Bearings. Here's the promised review and installation! I initially requested the set for the ECX Boost, but I had forgotten that I'd upgraded my boost to RPM front spindle blocks and rear axle carriers...

    Newbee AMP Owner

Just bought two AMP's, one Buggy, one MT so i can spend some father/son time away from an xbox. Loving the cars, fully understand they are entry level and nothing flash. Now that they have been driven and crashed a bit they are starting to wobble at top speed. If i manipulate the tyres by...
